Auto-tagging and informations

What is auto‑tagging: When you import, clip, or create content (images, bookmarks, notes, text), Kosmik’s AI automatically assigns descriptive tags. Tags build an index of your workspace.

• How to access auto-tags: Auto-tags are displayed in the “informations panel”. To open it, select an item on the canvas and click on the “Tag” icon. This will trigger the informations panel.

• What is the information panel: The informations panel displays manual tags, auto-tags and descriptions of the selected item.

• What is the informations section: The information section shows a summary of the object and its content. If possible, Kosmik also adds an “author” tag (for example, if you import a Studio Ghibli movie in Kosmik, “Hayao Miyazaki” will be shown as the author in the information panel.

• What you can do with auto-tags: Auto-tags cannot be modified but you can click on them to launch a search through your content. Any item that also shares this tag will be shown in the search results. Double click on an item in the search results to be teleported to its location.
